"ARIZONA AND SO CAL AAU BASEBALL PROUDLY
PRESENTS: a Best Of The West shootout between Southern California
and Arizona AAU Baseball teams. There will be two series events. The summer
shootout will take place 4th of July weekend at the beach in Southern
California. The winter shootout will take place in Arizona Thanksgiving
weekend.
The format will be a 3 day , 4 game guarantee tournament open to ages
9U-16U. There will be room for 8 teams per age group, 4 from each state. The
first 3 games for each team will be against 3 different teams from the
opposing state. After 3 games of pool play, the teams will be seeded and
placed into two divisions for the elimination round. There will be D1 and D2
Champions and finalist awards.
One point will be awarded to each state for every win and a virtual trophy
will be awarded to the California or Arizona AAU Baseball Director.
This is an OPEN EVENT and is expected to sell out. The only requirement is
that your team has participated in an AAU Baseball tournament within the
last 12 months. So Come Out And Represent."
